Comments:
Hewlett Packard (HP) D5298B (M45) Driver. Success, however...I downloaded this file directly from the HP Support website. It didn't load properly when just executing, but when I used the Add Programs applet in the Control Panel it partially installed. I then had to go into Device Manager to perform "Update Driver" after which it asked for the HP Pavilion Install CD, which is really looking for file HPD14B20.ICM, which inconspicuously gets loaded into the Windows/Options/Cabs folder. Just browse to this folder and everything should finish installing. I got True (32 bit) color at 1024x768 with my Video Adapter. You can probably skip some of my previous steps, I quit trying to find the most direct way after I finally got it to install.
